Cudmore Grove on East Mersea offers a great location for a seaside visit. With pay and display parking adjacent to the extensive grassland area which leads down to the beach. Cudmore Grove is the ideal place to walk the dog, have a picnic or BBQ and even fly a kite!
If you are interested in the local bird and wildlife, there is a small visitor centre with lots of information or you can visit the bird hide looking over a large water inlet, popular with waterfowl. There are often local talks that take place during the Summer so it’s worth keeping an eye out for any special events.
